#loveatlanta is making a difference with the Atlanta Homeless Population

We can't thank #loveatlanta group from Passion City Church enough for sharing their time and energy at Clifton Sanctuary Ministries! They are truly a reflection of gods love. Their Church's mission is:
"Our hope is to be winsome, and to befriend and serve all people. Our worship is loud because His grace is beyond anything we could dream or imagine. Our rhythm is to gather together to worship and scatter to serve. And in a world where the weight is often heavy, we want to lift people, speak life, stand for justice, add value and celebrate the goodness of our God in the best of times and when the road is steep.
We are not perfect. But Jesus is. Come as you are."
Each member showed that love this week with service at Clifton.

The #loveAtlanta team came out doing the much needed yard work around the shelter. By doing that little chore they made us better neighbors to the Lake Clair community. They also painted the downstairs meeting room where the Clifton Board, Alcohol Anonymous Groups (AA), Narcotics Anonymous Groups (NA), and where the guests have access to computers. This little room is where a lot of hard work of Clifton is done. When the board meets we are trying to make all the nuts and bolts of the Clifton Ministry work together. When NA and AA meet there they help heal people with addictions that are keeping them from progressing further in life. The computers are there to help the guests change their homelessness by helping them look for jobs and housing on the internet. When #LoveAtlanta came in they were not just painting a room but making a better place where people can heal and get work done.
